Oma and Opa 2018
Vienna, June 18 – June 30. Grandparents visiting is so much better than Summer Camp!
Two short weeks weren’t long enough, but they were enough to have dinner at the Schweizerhaus, ride swings at the Prater, and finish this giant wheel of cheese.
Melk, Halstatt, Retz, a few days of rain and a few days of sun. They took Jake and Eli swimming at Krapfenwald Bad, and helped me set up my next puzzle.
The rain made the view from our apartment pretty nice!
The boys loved their bubbles and speedometers, and the bike helmets, books, toys, and evenings spent catching up on movies and stories with their grandparents. Oma is always so good at bedtime stories.
Opa got us excited about playing poker, and not being afraid to bet it all!
Mom and I have matching shirts and scarves now.
This trip was full of neat, new things!
But is it terrible to say we like the old things better? Because you know, one is silver and the other is gold.
Grandparents are more like gold.
