“Go Back.”

This is advice we were once given, in light of our mobile life, as a way to make it feel like something more than a string of good-byes. Go back to places you love, make them real instead of just nostalgia, and prove that leaving isn’t always saying good-bye, and it doesn’t mean forever. I think maybe the only way to make going back better is to do it with people we love! So this year we returned to our snowy Italian village once more, this time with friends to share the memories. We went skiing on the same mountains, stayed in the same hotel, played games, went sledding, ate pastries, drank local wine (my favorite is Lagrein), and went to our favorite restaurants. It was like a dream, except that it wasn’t. Here are the pictures!
