I never would have thought that one day, I would be watching my whole family do a triathalon.  To clarify, this was not an Ironman.  NO!  Far from it.  But how wonderful it is to see kids and adults of all ages, at all levels of fitness, going out and being active, and competing not to win a crazy race but just to have fun and see how they do.  Is this an Africa thing?  Do they do this everywhere?  Or is this just something I never noticed as a non-sportsmen, and now that I’ve married a sporty guy and born apparently sporty offspring, am finally seeing for the first time?  So many layers of life still left to be explored.  I guess that’s why we live so many years so that if we want to, we have time to explore them all.  And maybe even BEAT an Olympic athlete!  What a fun weekend!!

Thanks Bennetts for being our TEAM!!
