Schonbrunn

After more than 8 years, these three are still Peas In A Pod.

And if you look close, down in the right corner you can see the Fourth Pea standing there too.

Schonbrunn Palace is a Vienna landmark that never gets old, especially with the kids.  We’ve never even actually been inside the Palace, but with all there is to do outside there is always something new to see, a new experience to be had.

Like, for example, forgetting about your five-year old and losing her in the labyrinth.  Why is that child crying?  Wow, it would be so easy to lose your kid in this place.

This was not the smiling little girl we found after searching frantically through the hedges!  Yes, today we were Those Parents.  It’s okay, Nate, remember, you lost Sahara once too.

Here Hunter, push Uncle Mike around on the Merry-Go-Round for a little while, that will make you feel better.

Look at Sahara climbing the fire pole!  She made it all the way to the top!

Hugs, tears, and a big bag of gummy bears later, everything was okay.  The kids were giggling and flopping around as they jumped out tunes on a big piano built into the ground, and crowding themselves into the giant flapping bird.

That’s what families are for.  Helping each other find things.  And helping each other finish” Doner Boxes” and big plates of hot dogs.

Even with the Lost Child part, this day was the best one yet.
